What is the Heat Pump Pass?

Heat Pump Pass is two video courses.

The Heat Pump Pass 1 comprises approximately 5 hours of on-demand video training delivered in 26 segments of a few minutes each.

The follow-on course, Heat Pump Pass 2 is about 2 hours long and is delivered in 11 segments. You will need to sign up for part 2 after your initial course as registration is not automatic.

We recommend that you begin with Heat Pump Pass 1. Indeed many installers have found that part 1 gave them a deeper understanding of the subject even when they have been installing for a while.

Who is it suitable for?

This is a basic course for those who need a basic technical understanding of how heat pumps work and some key consideratons for installation. It would be ideal for:

  • Heating engineers wishing to transition from boiler installation to heat pumps
  • Trainee heating engineers
  • Existing heat pump engineers wishing to deepen their knowledge of different heat pump technologies and/or STIEBEL ELTRON products

 

How to sign up for part 1 or 2

We have a limited number of licenses for every month for the course and allocate these on a first come, first served basis. Normally we have ample supply to allow for immedate access, though at busy times you may be placed on a waiting list for a short period. You can select on the form whether you want part 1 or 2 of the course - if you email, remember to indicate which course you need.
