STIEBEL ELTRON grows workforce to service Ireland with renewable energy solutions
STIEBEL ELTRON IE has expanded its workforce as it looks to ramp up its operations in Ireland and deliver greener homes across the country.
The move follows the company’s decision to enter into the Irish market earlier this year, with the leading supplier of sustainable heating products opening a new regional headquarters in Dublin in January.
Increasing the size of its team to five, all of whom are local to Ireland, the growth in employees will help the company drive forward the adoption of renewable heating technologies across the country.
Located at Blanchardstown, the Dublin office’s team, which includes two specification managers and engineers, will be on hand to support customers with their expertise in implementing renewable energy technology in homes across the country.
With global headquarters based in Germany and 26 existing sales operations around the world, STIEBEL ELTRON IE’s Dublin location opened with a range of heat pumps, electric hot water, space heating and ventilation products available for the Irish market.
The company entered into the market with a view to galvanising the country’s supply chain and support end consumers, installers, developers, consultants, or architects in utilising renewable heating solutions.
Offering local distribution for parts and products, the Dublin office includes a new showroom fitted out with the latest sustainable heating products including heat pumps, electric heaters, compact water heaters, and ventilation systems.
As a result, STIEBEL ELTRON IE can supply and implement a range of renewable heating products to customers across the country in a seamless, efficient and timely manner, making heat pumps easier than ever to install and support.
Meanwhile, with expert engineers available across the team, the company will provide comprehensive training to the country’s installers, enabling them to carry out and implement projects with ease.
Mark McManus, STIEBEL ELTRON IE Managing Director, said: “Getting the right team in place was crucial to ensuring we can hit the ground running as we look to support Ireland in delivering on its renewable energy ambitions.
“With each team member locally sourced, they hold in-depth knowledge of the Irish market and will be able to provide strong guidance to customers with their expertise in the renewable energy sector.
“We look forward to seeing them drive STIEBEL ELTRON IE’s growth across the country, and in doing so, deliver greener homes across Ireland.”
Shane Gough, STIEBEL ELTRON IE Specification Manager, said: “It’s a hugely exciting time for us as we branch out into the market. Across the globe, the company has been a driving force behind the adoption of renewable heating solutions, particularly with meeting demand for sustainable buildings and the development of qualified technicians to develop them.
“We’re looking forward to having this same impact in Ireland.”
Jeffrey Griffin, STIEBEL ELTRON IE Specification Manager, added: “We’re looking forward to supporting an even greener future for Ireland with STIEBEL ELTRON IE’s new regional headquarters.
“With a range of products available we will work with Irish consumers to help them implement the most innovative renewable heating solutions in their homes, as well as working with the country’s installers to share our knowledge to help them drive these solutions forward.”
The company’s expansion into the Irish market forms part of its commitment to growing every aspect of the business, from developing its training facilities and workforce further, to investing in new renewable energy technologies and products.
Founded in 1924, STIEBEL ELTRON is a market leading supplier of technology for building services and green technology, with a particular focus on central heating products such as heat pumps.
